    See you in September!

Hey guys, I'm moving over to Auckland from Dublin, Ireland in September so on here to find other bikers and get to know the lay of the land over there for those of us on two wheels!

I'm currently on a BROS 400, sadly selling it to relocate in August so my first thing to do when I get there is sort out a bike, so any help would be great.

Started on a Suzuki GZ125, then got a Virago 250 before getting the BROS in January. Might get another over there, or a DRZ 400. We shall see, anyway, hello all!

Welcome to the forum. What is bringing you to NZ? We live a bit north of Auckland, be happy to show you around these parts when you get here.

Well the missus's mam is from Auckland originally, but it's mainly just to escape Europe for a while and see if it burns down! Ha!

Ahhh no, I know loads of people who moved over to NZ and love it so thought we'd go too!

    So, we're here now!!!

Looking at bikes and stuff, and looking for jobs too! Fun times!!

Looking at license rules I'm on an L Plate here.... So, need to find a decent low power machine! Anyone know of any going in the under $2,000 range?

Also, we were in Puhoi yesterday and saw a load of Harleys and Hot Rods there! A few decent Ducatis knocking around too! You dudes like your bikes!!

Can you hold out until next month when the rules change? Will affect the price of the under 250 machines but also allow you to look at a wider range of machines.

I see Jellywrestler is thinking the same. So as not to be a duplicate I will add a link to the NZTA page concerned

The last Monday of every month at Puhoi is known as 'Munters Monday' ....just to get rid of the Lion Red stock.

Looks in decent nick, but not sure.... Anyone see anything I don't? Very low K's for a 28 year old bike, and a bit of rust around the engine and sparks, that's about it?
