So ill add more to this tomorrow after ive ridden in and out of work in it.
Had my Qmoto gear arrive today
Want to first say a big thanks to Paula at Qmoto as she has been really helpful and was very good with both pricing and letting me do a layby option over a few pays.
Good gear espically for new riders is in my mind very important and while i have risked around 500-600kms with some older gear (which I class as light weight summer gear) (Was using a brand new Shoei XR1100 as well however) at the end of the day its your skin and potentially life at risk.
My personal preference is leather due to various reasons which I won't go into at this stage.
Due to the cost good gear is to buy the layby option is great, as you dont need to spend a big chunk in one hit.
I have tried on Revit gear and while it is also good compared to the quality and price of the Qmoto stuff it won in my mind (not knocking the revit gear as it is amazing and each to there own)
Tried the gear on when it arrived and the fitment was perfect gear is all off the rack sizing
I am 5"11-6" and 70-72kg
The armour is in all the right places (will need to buy a back protector at some stage)
Will add more to this later
Anyone in wellington wanting to have a look or a test fit etc let me know happy to help

also any questions feel free to post and I will answer best as I can.
Rode home last night and back in this morning
There is a big difference riding in full gear compared to what I had been doing
Armour is all in the right places and I was nice and warm the whole ride I had taken out the thermal liner as I think i would have gotten to hot
Gloves have given me so much better clutch, brake and throttle control/feel
Pants have push my legs into better position as I cant move then as much atm haha
