    Nice so the power falls or stops at 12,000? Looks like some more hiding after that. So MB50 barrels but MB pistons lose their tips any where past 12000 or RD pistons which require mods

    That power curve seems like it's heading up up and away. With afew more rpm who knows. There's something to be said about reliability tho. Should put some of that fuel we were using last night in it

    i would like to fatten the hole curve up , reving it out not under load sounds good but on the dyno it runs rich in the mide range then all hell breaks loose lol . yes that drink may run well in it (-;

    Mb rings are 1.5mm thick. The tips jump off and power goes flat if over revved. Aftermarket may be the go if you get keen. Else keep revs where the are.

    I used to run RD pistons but there were two types and they discontinued the 1.2mm ring type + there were a heap of mods to do.

    From ailing memory the RD was OK for the under 53cc rule on std 40mm and first maybe 2nd oversize as yam did 0.25 steps. Course the 100 rules are more restrictive. Perhaps we should campaign for a 106.5cc oversize. No hidden agenda. . .

    Had to move ring peg. Use thrust washers and cut skirt depending on rod size.
