mate's one was way better - the red/white version, still with 4 good pipes and mufflers too.

I think I see the problems, you have dropped one too many grenades on it. It still thinks it owns the number one plate. It is now pissing into a plastic bottle from chronic old age. It requires support just to stand up. It's old swinger has retired mentally unsound...

That's just off the top of my head.

Back to my home brew vs. North Island performance parallels.

Round 1.
The TOK ale. Full body, good colouring but failed to really fizz. Has potential but really was lacking under pressure. More more sips the worse it got. Suitable for a quick taste but not for a session. Could be summed up as a drain cleaner - bottom of the heap.
- R1 results: mid pack qualifying, good starts but went backwards every race.

Round 2.
The TAM pils. All a bit confused, good colour and some pop, but failed to hold fizz for the duration. Had people guessing what it really was. Potential shown and far better than round one. Interesting hop combinations.
Inconsistent across bottle and still not flash. Sprint yes session no....
- R2 results: mid pack qualifying, good start and during the sprint races held position to finish mid pack. Race3, couldn't hold position over the duration of the race...

Round 3.
The EDGE - IPA. (Three weeks in the bottle - so still at little premature to make a full judgement).
----Well, I had a private tasting session last night. Tasty, good colour & head retention, slightly explosive hoppy-ness and seems that it could easily go the distance. Consistent through multiple bottles.
Pleasant aftertaste leaving one wanting more... Four 750's later I was on my ass giggling like a school girl, thus the hydrometer didn't lie (high % alcohol)..

So I'll be looking forward to the trip north for round three.

Round 4 is in the fermenter now. The UNKNOWN - APA....

new ktm rod is cleaned up and weighs the same as if the 125 piston was still in it , shot blasting tomorrow , need to finsh the bike for the gp
