i should probably clear up what i meant rather than wrote Fitz Egli patented "a triangulated non linkaged swing arm". (I am not sure re the bananna and Gull curve as well.) He issued license to Yamaha and Honda to produce them.
Actually the Germans borrowed the Telelever off a pom who made laveda specials he had showed them a prototype he had done in the hope of selling them the idea. He heard nothing. Then all of a sudden they were producing them.....
When he asked for a explanation they sent him a new BMW he let it go as he hadn't patented it.Whoops
