Durex I hope the rubber last more than once go.
I thought the RS rubbers were unobtainium now, or was that just the NF4 ones.
I was thinking maybe doing them with the bolts on permanently (like these that the old XL Hondas had or one piece like the old yamahas)

that way you could change sprockets without messing around with the three bolts. (assuming you already outfitted the spare sprockets with them as well)
Somewhere i saved on my computer a source heap of cheap metalastic rubbers that were used on cars.
    like these, only much cheaper

Good luck with the rubbers, I'm not interested in doing another batch of urethane ones.
FWIW it appears thet the Lawrance bros - sidecar racers in Hamilton ? - have the moulds to cast urethane bushes in the right size.
I made some replacements for a sidecar wheel cush which were exactly the same as RS - then the owner found out about the Lawrances.

Found it just as easy to buy gen from accu products, but combine so freight split.

I'm looking at bringing in some Honda ones from Japan for my RS125. I think they work out to be about $13 or something each.
How many people would be in for some?

Steve Ward reckons that he's seen the non-oem nolathane type replacements flog gearboxes before in the RS125s but that may be anecdotal.

So did the NS1 wheels get the same treatment?

If so then I'll get a few more sets????

That's a good point, let's make a mould and cast the bastards.

He said the same to me but the same owners (not Steve...) also fucked carrier bearings cos they didn't realise that the bushes had a radiused edge which should go inwards..Fitted round the wrong way, they preloaded the carrier bearings....Given I've seen bigger HP bikes use them satisfactorily - and also bikes with no cush at all last for years, I have to wonder at the standard of maintenance on the ones which broke gearboxes.
