Yes, and the chair may be sorted except for the steering, we're giving it another go at Taumarunui and then seeing if that needs some more tweaking. Main thing it appears to be running sweet now, touch wood!

No problem. I'll swing up early in the new year and grab it. Could take the 150 or your bike if you prefer, might be an easier load for you if I take the biggest bike you have to move, will make no difference to me.

    Back in the day.

Crazyman and crew at Ohakea in 1998. Seymour on number 18 (I probably managed one lap before exploding). Sidecar is on a different date but same place.

Ahh, the good old days when Palmy had some tracks to offer!!! Where are those days now?

That looks like a Ziffle cast head. I bought a couple of those many moons ago and they did a good job (but were a bastard to weld).

Big thanks to Vic club for their Christmas special.

    Interesting couple of days

Tuned up real keen (having found some power) only to have the motor turn to custard when warming up the bike. Locked solid. A few light taps with a hammer (on the crank as it really felt like it was bound on a bearing) free'ed everything up. But then on restart she vibrated like crap and ran on once turned off. Balance shaft... Engine out and pulled apart, only to find the primary nut had come loose and the key had left the balance shaft gear (free spinning). Piston had some mild scoring so that was cleaned up and all put back together with a new ring. Only to have one of the power valve cables break... Wired open. So this gave me the afternoon to have some fun....
Chucked the chain in two races (one leaving me on my ass in the dirt: real dork). Friday night spent fixing everything up.
Day two. Must have detuned it some how as she was not preforming like on the dyno. But it was rideable but a few carb issues down low ( need to look at the pilot circuit). But had a great day in b+ 7th, 4th, dnf, 3rd & 2nd. Real close racing with a group of 4 riders generally together.

F5dave took it out and provided some feedback and some other engne ideas to think about.
The engine is showing sme promise just need to get a few things sorted...

It certainly has some promise. found the gear change a little difficult & it self steers a little, but I think some more comm on the forks may help that. Can't fault the chassis itself, it has some advantages over my NF4.
Don't you look at my accountant.
