No choice... Run out of RS125 forks (even the TZ125) forks seem hard to find...

Faith wise.... That's why our test rider will be trying them out....

Fastace now make something very similar to the old polini pre-GP forks.

    (Husa found them).
But they don't seem that interested in shipping to NZ....

    NSF100 application huh, interesting.
I think I can get my hands on some NX4 forks and rear shocks but as you say, they're not exactly cheap

Let us know. We have imported a few sets (Japan, USA etc.). But price has slowly gone up. Gone are the days of a set of forks for 300-500... More like 800+ Now. Which makes things like the fastace option quite appealing...

But we did set some goals this year to reduce the amount of RS running gear on our buckets, mainly to free up bits for larger projects.

Yeah you'd be looking between $850 and $1000 in my experience which I really don't think is that bad considering they're GP bike forks.

I do agree it's a good idea to be reducing the amount of RS parts used though. This fits more within the homebuilt angle it seems you boys are taking (which I think is great). On the other hand, I'm a firm believer that there will be a strong resurgence in GP125 bike racing around the world soon enough. If you had loads of RS parts, you'd be in a pretty good position. Lets not get into the GP bike parts debate here though

On another angle, I've been very interested in road bike forks lately and have noticed some sport bikes have pretty solid but short forks, like the Ducati Monster. Whilst they'd obviously require re-springing and re-valving (most forks usually do anyway), I wonder how good the base fork construction is for a racing application. Any experience here?

Great day at GPR headquarters today.
Bikes wheeled outside in the sun and prepped up for tomorrow's test day at manfield.

Both of the new project bikes will be making their first outing.
And I'm looking forward to seeing the KTM on track.

We will try and get some photos to post...
