    Crotch too long

I have some leather pants but the crotch is too long so it is difficult to straddle the bike.

    Can the pants/crotch be altered?

I don't want them pulled up from the waist because then the leg length will be soooo wrong. Perfect fit everywhere else, I just have a short waist lol.

I guess I have left myself open for some smart comments... if you know what I mean but I'm a big girl so bring it on

You can lay your bike down, slide on, then eject both you and said bike to an upright postion in one movement....

There must be a Tailor or seamstress in Napier .... not a major job. There is one or two on KB that do those alterations ....

But not too big to fill her pants ...

Leaving herself open can be fixed by doing up the zip though ...

Pic's of the problem may help us ....

    Ratti does them FJ !

Yeah take ya crotch in works, but you (the machinist) will have to start around the knee or just above and slowly take a larger seam up to the crotch center then slowly out again to the knee

Question there is, how much do ya need taken in ? It will be taking as much both sides of the seam IE front and backside, will the thigh still fit ?

Who ever does it will need a heavy duty walking foot machine, not just ya commercial singer sewer ! There will be an upholsterer up your way somewhere that will have a machine that'll handle it i'm sure
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
