    Thumbs up

Just heard that the Modern sidecars will be competing at Wanganui Street Races this Boxing Day after all as long as they can get the numbers on the grid. I guess it is now up to the Riders and pillons to get their entries in and their sidecars on the circuit to make this happen.

Yes, Initially we were requested to provide twelve modern's, upon providing to the organisers, twelve names, addresses & machine types of those that wished to compete, the minimum number was then raised to fifteen, more than they sometimes have in superbikes.
It still may not go ahead, as fifteen is fairly ambitious.
Its a great time of year for adventure riding, so I for one wont be too crestfallen if we get bumped.
If moderns are excluded, several classics will be absent too.

Overheard a conversation in my house that sounded like a couple of guys who spent some time upside down last year are keen to scare the crowd again......
