The driver repeatedly asked the passengers to put their seatbelts on. He deserves a medal for trying to prevent three suicides.

Suicide .... just the same as all those "crashed and died coming home pissed from the pub" deaths recently. Regardless if they were driving or not.

And like it or not ... you are more likely to survive if you were wearing a safety belt.
