...maybe licence holders need to think more, maybe clubs need to have more communication with their members, maybe MNZ is not up to speed on good communication...do road racers know that they are only about 500 in number the rest of the membership is mainly MX riders and I bet, most of MNZ's time is spent running around after them.
Im sure if road racers put their energies into being part of the game and involved in their future, ie. giving constructive feedback instead of just wanting it all to be there for them when they turn up at a meeting, then I'm sure decisions made on our behalf may have a little more thought put into them.
MNZ gets a bit of stick, some deserved maybe, some not...if we dont like what they do for us we have the options of voting them out and putting up some new people...whoever is running the show is still going to have the same shit to deal with...i'm not being nice to anyone here, just being a little congenial toward those that stand up and say they want to do the job...on the other hand, no doubt I will be back to rip them up again over such things as,
...why did we waste our time over seminars and all agree that we all need to be "on the same page"...go through the processes of initiating club officials to take the tests to become the new Stewards and Clerks of Course, that we all need so much, to be told that even though we passed,we didn't...( I did hear one of the reasons, and it's a derisible load of wank)
...whats with travelling all over the country to meetings and hanging out at resort towns in classy hotels for AGM meetings...
...someone pays for all this...us...
