    RS 250 top triple

I was helping my friend replace a bent clipon when we ran into a snag. The top triple wouldn't come off.

Every bolt in and on it was loosened completely or taken off. There was some movement on the outside of the forks but something it seems has been missed. Anyone got any ideas what?

if youve removed all the bolts, and the head stem nut, and youve made sure it isnt a triple that has bolts go from the top down into the clipons, then its just tight, a rubber hammer, or a bit of wood and a hammer, tapping gently will nudge it off

I'm going to try a different approach tomorrow, jack up the front end of the bike, then half drop out the forks and replace the clipons that way.
