    Thanks KB

Today I decided to re-fit the center stand that a previous owner had removed from the bike - a simple job; 2 bolts and a spring.

I was scratching my head wondering how I would get the heavy spring re-attached when I recalled something that I probably read here. Trick is to extend the spring bit by bit on the bench and insert washers or coins in between the coils until its long enough to simply hook in place.

Worked a treat it did and no doubt saved skinning my knuckles and lots of swearing.

.... back in green and feeling great ....

    That's a brilliant idea.
Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed to so few by so many cheese eating surrender monkeys.

Never heard of that one before. But sounds like a great idea. One to remember for sure.
Do us all a favour, by bringing yourself up to speed, before pulling onto the motorway.
