    NZ Superbike - Rumours

There seems to be quite a few rumours floating around about the NZSBK class and who is riding what. Sounds like there is a few brand swaps and it looks like the class is gonna be stacked!!

    Robbie Bugden
    Andrew Stroud
    Sloan Frost
    Nick Cole
    Craig Shirriffs
    James Smith
    Hayden Fitzgerald
    Ryan Hampton
    Scott Moir
    John Ross
    Dennis Charlett
    Glen Skatchel
    Jake Lewis
    Dan Stauffer
    Dion Sellers
    Paul Duncan
    Glen Williams

Hopefully we get a bunch of club guys joining in as well and get some guys out there on the likes of Johns BMW, and Hepburns 1199....

Will be interesting to see if many do take part with the licence cost going up.

Anyone been or seen the repairs at Taupo?

That is a couple I forgot! Also Adrian Cox might have a crack. Gonna be the best year for NZSBK

Looking forward to seeing the upgrades... The licence cost wont effect the list I wrote but maybe club day riders. Would be good if clubs do what PMCC did and actually make the local round a points scoring round for their club series

Maybe Deano, when the nats come around and the guys that usually only do club days and just purchased a club licence will have even more reason to not ride a national event.

You summed it up completely what I was refering to. Riders that want to have a go or only do there local round will suffer. People that are in for the series wont matter to them.

Like you said Choppa, your list wont be effected at all, and looks like an interesting season ahead.

I heard that Superbike was being cancelled due to lack of interest and the riders were all getting 125's.....

Oh, sorry that was a nightmare I had..... Superbike riders wouldn't know how to ride GP bikes fast anyway.

Lol. Except most of the "GP" bikes you refer to can be cross entered in Post Classics as well. I prefer to race modern bikes.

Due to recent technical developments I reacon the Shocks will beat the Tyres this year with the the rider coming in a distant third followed by the bike in last position.

Most bikes this year have traction control. Pretty much dont need to worry about suspension or tyres you just open the throttle brake and turn so its gonna be close!
