I have one of those taps with a tapered plastic insert that is both the valve and seal. It is weeping a tiny amount but pissing me off. I can get a replacement ex USA for around $100US but just wondering if anyone has tried to re-bed them with maybe some fine lapping paste or polish or such? Yes, I have scots in me tha noo!
