Hey, I posted some crap on another site and this is what was said.

What a cracker day it was, the body is aching...deep heat would have no show in fixing this body.
Loved it loved it, the racing appeared thick and fast.
I got me carb cable late Friday, fitted and watched plenty of you tube clips to get a jist on what I needed to do to get it right..... Once I was done with it, it was not right. REvvvvvving like a right prick. Got that bit sorted after the first couple of races, Though would only rev to around 11k unless blown by the Wester to snatch at 12k. So some work to do re the carb settings.
The race before the BOB the bloody carb cable I got done the day before gave way... I did say "FUCK", Wallace was me hero, gas soldered the thing back together and into the BOB with admittedly ginger throttle movement just in case I made it break again.
The BOB was awesome... got lapped a few times... tried diff lines, forgot what I was doing... became a little vacant, woke up and it was all over. The races after that were awesome, getting a better feel for the FXR every time I jump aboard.

Rockin' Not able to make it to the BEARS round on Sunday... but I sure feel I have had my full.

Cheers to all the peoples that did the shit that got the day to happen.

And now we are a few days past the even that was, the mammaries are awesome. Hang about memories

I've been telling some of the FXR developers that 4mm rollers in a big end are not high performance parts....

To change to either 3.5mm rollers or a plain big end will require some commitment however.
It can be done and I suppose it will eventually have to be done.

I'm not sure that it will, it'll just become a "lifed" item once someone works out how many km can be done before they die

well I did in excess of 4500 race km plus the racing Sketchy put on it before i owned it. The only reason the rod kit was done due to a bent valve, it was on borrowed time the cage was in bit and was ready to go. I dont think any of the replaced rod kits have failed......so the jury is out on that one.

Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.

Think that one I bought that you didn't want had 40K + road Kms on it then I thrashed it for a couple of seasons before I sold it

Mr Ling said he hasn't seen one go twice yet

Rods really hardly ever break. Mine cut a hole though the engine but did not snap. Cheap shit pistons that may or many not tap the valve will die for sure.

Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!
