Someone finds your key in your ignition; What would you do to say thanks?

If you had a 2011 Honda CBR600RR and you left your key in the ignition in the "off" position and someone was kind enough to take the key out, leave their details on your handlebars and then return the key to you (making sure you were the rightful owner), how would you repay them?

    A simple thanks?
    Box of beer?
    ...?

Smash them for touching my bike !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I would be ecstatic with a box of beer, shit, a box of Cadburys Roses would make my G/F happy which would make me happy. Nice to know that good things are happening.

It's the thought that counts & a gesture of thanks will cause the warm fuzzys all round.

    Karma.

I'd take them out to a candle lit dinner and rip their manly pants off and stuff. Because I'd be on a Honda.

I'd be asking them what the hell they were doing in my garage as that's the only place I ever leave my key in the ignition.

Nice gesture, a thank you should do the trick surely? If they're the kind of person to go to the trouble to do that then I imagine they'd be happy with a thanks.

Take them for a burn on the back. That should teach them. Worlds smallest pillion seat with footrests 4" below that.

I dropped a car off to get a windsheild replaced one day, saw a ZZR1100 parked on the street with a 'For Sale' sign on it. Went over to have a look while I waited to be picked up and saw the key was in the ignition. Rang the guy and told him, his response? 'Argh fucking flatmate rode it this morning, fuck it, fuck I guess I'll have to come and pick it up then'. Hung up without even a thanks or a chance for me to say I'll give it to the receptionist at the glazier. So I left it there.

Something like that is called doing the right thing, and being a decent human being. It should be thanked of course, but you know if it were me that had done that I would not want anything else. Just knowing you did the right thing and the person was grateful is enough for this gal. By all means offer to buy a round, or a beer or what have you. I am picking it will be declined.

It is called treating others as you would like to be treated, and you know, in my experience of these things, good things come to good people.

If it was a girl you fancy mind, a bunch of flowers to her place of work would be AWESOME

Guy sounds like a right ungrateful twit. I get a bit pissed when I give way to people coming the opposite way, you know, when there's a narrow road or whatever and the just roll on by without even a glance or a wave, no acknowledgement at all... just wankers that bring you down.

For these types of situations I'm in favour of lotto tickets as a thankyou- hopefully karma pays them back BIG TIME.
