I concur with all of the above. What does Western Springs cost to book?

    It definitely looked a hoot.

More to the point (and safety issues aside) - I was just thinking that its the sort of dumb shit that race promoters could use to get people to turn up for events. Gold Wing MX anyone? But racing is of course a serious business and must never be confused with fun.

Yep, find a big wet paddock & friendly farmer. Done. Last time I was at The Farm they were talking about mini moto x in the mud on the kids circuit. Le Mans style I believe, running start & the team with the most laps wins.
    Hope it happens.

It would be fabulous fun if they could do it without the likes of OSH and ACC making it too hard.
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

As it stands, to ride there on your own bike you sign a disclaimer stating you will wear appropriate safety gear & have read & understood the rules etc. Then you go & knacker yourself in the mud. Marvelous place.

A few years ago I was up that way (north of the bridge somewhere) at a funday MX and the last race of the day was an all-in thrash while having spectators throw eggs at us...bloody brilliant.

I swear some of them were hard boiled too.

Used to have Moped Mayhem at the BMF show in Peterborough UK every year. It was on the speedway oval and if i remember correctly they had to be 50cc and thats it.... no rules on mods at all.
And it was a 1hr enduro if i recall. so power had to be weighed against reliability.
Pretty much a free for all as far as contact went too.
    Good fun.
