    Which nut are you trying to move? You want to sit the bike on its center stand
    Loosen the axle a wee bit and the use the adjusters.
    The axle should have a split pin in it, usually pays to remove that

    If that fails, spray something like WD40 onto the nut and try to spray it into the thread. Let it soak for a bit and you should be good to go.

    IT may be the locking nuts on the tensioner that is slowing him up ...

    Trying to loosen the axle on the left, had already removed the split pin on the right.

    I shall have a go spraying it tomorrow, hopefully it isn't pouring it down!

    And thanks heaps for the link, does look good. So many to look through on the net I didn't know where to look.

    If your near Hataitai area on Sunday late morning ill be working on bike while wife watches Home and a Gay omnibust and I can show you how to replace the set. I dont have link rivit kit but can join it with punch and dolly.

    Success!

    So thanks to your advice and help (well really I just had to watch mostly) from mossy I have a new chain and sprockets on my bike. Cheers all.
