Question ZXR 250 worth it or not?

Right I need a new bike, Its going to take ages to get my old gsxr sorted out and the money off the bastard. $3000 for this ZXR worth it or not? Aparently only a few scratches on fairings and no cracks.

    It looks alright...

My advice... call the seller up, organise to go see it, take it for a test ride and if you like it take it to a bike shop for an appraisal (only $40... worth it... rather pay $40 to find out it's a heap of shit than pay $3000 and find out it's a heap of shit).
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

Anything less than $3000 is prob not worth it, unless it's one of those miracle, one in a million chances.

Bike shops will sell a piece of for around $3995 upto $5995 which is the usual most common dealership price.

make sure you get a compression test done on it before you buy it.

it can save you a lot of money down the road.

Looks like someone has stick a wacking big zorst on it. Yip and i agree a compression test is one of the more impotant ones as well as check the disks and see if there is any cam chain rattle.
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
