    GS1000 flywheel wanted.

Does anyone here running a GS1000 as a total loss system have a flywheel for sale?

There's 4 for sale on EBay if you get no joy locally Steve: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nk...0&LH_PrefLoc=2

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

Is it peculiar to the GS1000, or will a GSX1100 one fit? I have a few of them I wont be needing.
You could PM Grumph on here.

Cheers Steve. Unfortunately Suzuki's microfiche doesn't give a part number for the GS flywheel so I can't compare it to the GSX one. Any chance you could send one over to me so I could give it a go?

Pretty sure the GSX one is a bigger taper.
What is it that you want ?
I have a good rotor separated from the boss which is surplus to requirements or rotor with boss.
ideally i'd like at least one spare boss so if you've damaged a rotor but the boss is OK a swap could be done...
Starter clutches of course are easy...all the GS twins and fours have the same bolt pattern and interchange.

    PM me

i've crunched one GS1000 part number and it cross references to six models so they may not be interchangeable between all GS1000's; so what is the model you have Steve?

Things are in motion anyway but for what it's worth, I have here rotors from ; slide carb "S" model, slide carb "E" model and CV carb "E" model on various things (none for sale) and all appear interchangeable. All have the same taper too.
    this info may help someone.
