Nice. "Vanilla" guitar shows the difference that choice of amplifier makes. It also shows that few people can emulate what Mark Knopfler can do with a guitar.

What the hell is that girl doing with that cable? That's gonna be a tangled mess next time someone wants to use it.

Sniff... my first thought was bastard has a 62 Reissue Strat. I had one of those... It was stolen about 20 years ago - I never saw it again.

Next, what was interesting was how many of those songs I actually can play. That was scarey. I reckon I can play at least 40 of those songs. I just taught my daughter Jess how to play Daytripper last weeked.

    I also observed:

He has the following songs wrong:
    Immigrant Song (Led Zep)
    Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits)
    Back in Black (ACDC)

and he missed a note on Thunderstruck...

but damn, he got all the rest pretty much spot on.

    tres impressive...

oh - and how many other people knew the Allman Brothers "Jessica" was the theme music for Top Gear?

    nice post David!
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I did. Since top gear did an episode where they reproduced the song with engine notes.
