my biggest problem in the garden isnt the insects eating me greens , but me mother in law stealing the dman things ,Peple here do give their neighbours , veges and bits an bobs all the time , The next door is always dropping of veges to us , trouble is he doesnt drink so I cant give him any of my homebrew, I made some essential oil the other day so will give hime some of that from the next batch,

I refered to a tv show " river cottage " which is on NZ tv at the moment I think. I get the impression that the movement towards the simple life is gaining momentum, is here in Japan .. lots of younger people moving away from the city to help in the countryside as the work is getting harder to find , so they are opting for the simple life


I think this is the way forward , and Im heartened to see it gaining momentum
