I have, like I've said mine have done the same & in less than 2000km of riding so they have found 2nd life as winter paintball gloves, my RJays however are still holding.

Go buy a brand new set of gloves....go for 4 rides...then if this happens send them back for warantee. Not that hard really. Or...of course you could come on here spouting shit ablout how shit Revit gear is.
Mine were brand new, and saw the same result (tho I stopped using them for riding before they got as bad as his)

So from personal experience so far I'd recommend Spidi & RJay gloves but warn to steer clear of Revit, & due to my glove experience I too have steered clear from any other Revit product.
Maybee it was a once off & I should give them another chance? but I'm not sure I want to take the financial & personal risk when I know others are good.

As for 1tonne I can't comment yet, but I'm considering some new boots. Thus interest in this thread.

For the price 1tonne served me well. The leather 'terminator' pants had good knee armour with hard outer shell (hip padding was token however and useless). Stitching and the leather itself seemed good throughout except for the stitching that held the soft-velcro waste fastener. That was unravelling everyday after about 7 months.

The 1 tonne racing boots were comfortable and accepted sidi toe sliders etc. However when broken in they were far more pliable than the outer plastic bracing should have allowed. As far as armour they were great, but as far as protection from ankle overextension or twisting the appearance is better than result imo. Still, it has to be significantly better than without.

The $60 'track dayer' leather gloves had the velcro fail in about a month. However, they were vastly better than the utterly useless Dririder hard knuckled gloves I had previously which had the palm rip open on my first low speed off at about 30kph. The 1tonne gloves had good armour in the knuckles which have been scraped up a bit. The palms held up after a shortish? slide of unkown length and speed, but did wear down to the second leather layer in one spot on one glove. As such I'd want something tougher in the palm really. Get RS Taichi Evo, Held Phantom/Titan, Knox Handroid, Heroic SP-R, Dainese Full Metal, A* GP Pro (stitching issues?) etc if you really want top end protection.

FFS this has gone on too long. Mods where are you & why aren't you doing your job? I can't take this crap anymore so some one has to say it.
We on KB are bikers, brothers in arms & outlaws patrolling the badlands. It pains me when this keeps getting repeated every fricking thread where Quasi & tigertim are arguing. By now we should have learned however it seems I will have to rise out of the trenches & face the fire to stop this ridiculous charade & put it straight.

Please everybody when you want to describe something as being "as well " the correct usuage & spelling is too not to.
ie. Quasi is ghey too or tigertim is queer too. (I don't take sides)
If we could just master this then the shit slinging will be a lot easier on the eyes.

Sorry if I sounded harsh but it has been a bit OTT lately with all the 'to's floating around

Of Padmei point taken, as I am the bigger man I apologize to Tigertim for any abuse from me, and unless provoked it stops now.
