Not a wasted trip anyway, as it sounds like you did a fair bit of networking, and that is never a waste of time IMO.

If you get that test ride on the XV1700 Warrior, I'll be looking forward to your test report!
Meh I think I'm over my little spat now. Took a nap.

Really want to take that Warrior for a spin. We had it outside the shop and turned it on. Even with that ridiculasly big pipe on it and how quiet that made the bike you could still hear the power of the big twin just begging to be let loose. Veryinterested to hear a set of free flow shotguns on it.

Seating position was a bit different. Had me leaning forward slightly and my feet were a bit more forward when on the pegs than on my Virago but it was still quite comfortable despite that. The suspension was nice and soft just sitting there and felt like it would smooth out the road and aid handling and power delivery very well.

Definatly gonna have to hit the gym before I can buy one though. It's heaps heavier than my bike and actually takes some effort to get off the side stand. According to Crashe I need broader shoulders anyway so the gym it is.
I'll be dropping my mom off at the airport early morning on Monday the 8th. Might have to wheel on by and see about it aye.

I have to admit that I don't like the bike... and its a very expensive bike as well.
Should mention that this bike was a custom built chopper. Full 250 rear tire, and long rake and such. The bars are actually quite standard for a chopper. Straight up from the mounts then turns abit out to either side. Like these here, only rather than that cross bar that was where the speedo was. Nice one too that I though about for my bike but it would have costed me some $300 or so just for that.

What was really wierd about it though was that the pipe looked like something off a two stroke or scooter and was on the left side of the bike rather than the right like most. Very interesting, wonder what it sounds like. $75K is the price if anyone is interested.
