great thread! makes me wish i took more photos of my bikes over the time i owned them!
Pretty cool! What are you missing to make a complete bike with the spare parts?
Only a Rat can win a Rat Race!
Haha quite alot mate, I sold off the parts as I was upgrading, still have a few left though
There's a bit of anodising on there, Clear clutch cover, pressure plate and retainers, starter motor cover, front sprocket cover, Carrozzeria rims and both brake fluid reservoirs, all are made from machined billet.
As it sits now is pretty much how I like it, the only thing I'll be changing looks wise will be the headlight cover and I'll be changing the rear brake hanger so I can get rid of the torque arm. I'll probably give it a respray at some point down the track too.
outstanding ride bloke, love the work you've done.. subtle, but only to those who wouldn't know what to look for.. love it
"oh I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?"
Thanks man, appreciate all the feedback.
There's a few things people do to change the look drastically, like high mount exhausts, belly pans or adding a completely different rear subframe.
I like the original styling of the TLS, so I tried to keep it as close to the stock look as I could while updating it as much as I could.
Wicked bike man... How many km's has it done?
Built for speed, not for comfort
Thanks man, it's sitting on 53,000 at the moment.
I never really commute on it, I mainly just take it out for a thrashing where possible.
It's done about 300 or so laps of the Taupo race track and around 100 of Manfield track so it hasn't been an easy life.
Really bored today so decided to take some better pics of it as it sits, so I can drool when I'm back in Queensland while it sits in storage.
I know, I'm a pic whore
nice pics, but they are missing a scantily clad slut sprawled all over the bike
Hahahah yea I would but don't think the missus would appreciate it much, she's already jealous of the bike.
That's a damn fine looking TLS, well done mate !
That's a stunner for sure!
Umm.. I know how you can probably save another 3kg or so...
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
