Getting RVF400 jetting done?

Hi. So I finally found an RVF400 and i'd like to get a few things done to it. Was thinking about cleaning the carbs myself (limited mechanical knowledge but have a Haynes manual). But at the same time I want to remove the washers to de-restrict her, which as I understand it, would mean the bike would most likely need to be re-jetted. So i'm starting to think now that it's probably a bit beyond my tools and capabilities presently - but i'd like to watch it done for any future requirement. Does anybody have a good mechanic to recommend that can do this for me? And any idea very roughly what I might be looking at in cost? Thanks for any help.

AJ at motohaus under motomail is one of the best vfr/rvf mechanics out there, having owned aorun 35 of them. There is a vfr preservation society on here, if you have any questions, best off asking in that section
