I believe it was caused by a repeating mechanical fault.

Actually much as hate to admit it he does have a good point, you knew you had a problem from previous races but continued to race your outfit and in doing so caused a collision which luckily wasn't to serious, now if someone like Pete had done the same how much shit would he have come in for?

I'll defend Scrivy here, he assessed the issue and thought he'd solved it for the next race so he did look into it. I might even have a photo somewhere of him working on it as it was as rare as a solar eclipse!

And if she had packed the dustbuster in the pannier she would have fitted some vacuuming in there somewhere too!!
It did help that I was paticularly thirsty & already had the R1200 Getting Stuff warmed up.
