that really sweet looking black sidecar.. it is choice!

it says in one of the photos when the sidecar is on the roof of their wagon - weight - 140kg !!! I can't believe that.. lighter than 250 solo..
some of the text is missing tho so can't read it all

Thing is back then there was probably a lot more of it than in recent times, we're lucky in that we're one of the few countries where our sidecar rules are quite open to building what we want rather than something like the British F1 or world champs where you're on a long bike or not racing it

yea and why aren't we building more? sure money..but still, its such a sweet class where people could go nuts - think your still allowed alcohol fuels n stuff eh? make a monster. left and right chairs for diff tracks.. crazy designs.. wierd engines and even wierder places to put them..

look at some of the sidechair wheel positions some look positioned right in the middle of the front and rear, some have the side much nearer to the rear. Wonder how they would handle..
and one of the motors looked like it was mounted flat and underneat his seat.. stuff like that.

its awesome - think I've looked through all those photos as a slideshow a couple times now haha

Did you notice on the Rudi Kurth outfit there's no provision for either front or rear exit, looks like she just stayed lying down the whole time

I was just coming back to ask if that bike ever had the swinger move left to right or if it was a "lie down, stay still and take it as it comes, honey" kind of bike..

Only if you stop using nitromethane in the fuel

I could run my standard 1600, 15:1 compression kit, with the close ratio gearbox, heated kneel trays, automated sun visors, deck mounted ashtrays, and the fuel I get from the drag boys - X15A. My kids would think it was grunty.........

Well a Hayabusa really is a kids engine it's not something real men would run

Exactly what I've been saying for years - it's a touring bike engine for pussies.... Not a race engine....
