Should be good once you and Gordy get out there! More shorties!!!
The blue outfit used to lift the front wheel like a bitch, off of slow left hand turn and trying to veer right. Exiting hairpin at Ruapuna was bad, the Gladestone hillclimb was bloody terrible.

Come do the hillclimb man, you and Steve would set the bar quite high I imagine...For a second place of course.

    Something a little different.

The Bucket boys are beginning to emerge again in numbers with their sidecars, thought I would show off some of the "early" footage from 1999, even though there is a mix of bikes, this was an enjoyable class, and a great starting point for anybody.

This is the old Taupo circuit, and it is the one 20 lap race for the GP title. We won (I'm swinging in the black/white leathers), but it was a real hoot for everyone. Now us oldies are making a comeback, so come get some!

Check out GPRNZ forum in Buckets for more footage.

very nice, no bucket sidecars in the south that I've seen race.. are they dirt cheap? could be a way to get people into it and then progress to a full size. We need to beef up numbers down here!

if pig n goober sort it out, I think we have 6 regular teams.. Macdonalds, Harris, Waters, Agip, pig n goober and annan.. altho he also has been absent lately.

I'd rather we had double digits

Next time your around Auckland i'll let you try my bucket sidecar, if it keeps going long enough pretty cheap to put together, mines a scaled down LCR running mini tyres and hub centre steering.

Careful, your outfit is probably quicker than Kai's chair, and look what he did to that last time he rode it.

Cool! haha I'm in Auck Dec 21st I think but I don't think I'm there for long, fly in then catch bus to tga.. might be back up after Wangas tho where can you take them? kart tracks?
we used to have these little pocket bikes and we would take them to an outdoor kart track in chch "after hours" haha and just jump the fence and let er rip.. no one ever complained to us anyway.

Just trying to organize getting the bike back South for nationals.. BiketranZ said its possible they won't be able to get the bike south due to the tight time frame between wangas street race and first round of nats.

Just wondering if anyone out there has any other ideas how I could get bike north to south after wangas and before nats!

staying for wangas might bite me in the ass if I miss out on nats haha! oops :S oh well won't be the end of the world

What's it worth to ya, for me to tow it down?

ie, you'll need to pay for the ferry, (got a sponsor that'll let us use his trade account for that), and gash...Oops, I mean gas.

thats a bit of an ask for you to tow it down bro! but yes at this stage I would cover costs.. would have to price it all up to see if I could actually afford it or not :S

its not the end of the world I miss out on some races.. shit happens. Teach me for not being organized. think there are enough entrants for nats now anyway 11 or 12?
