your best lap for levels: Drew Mair / Alan Denovan 1:25.783
peeled off the number board and I think thats the original agip bikes yellow under there? haha. Also got rid of a wee sheet metal scoop someones made.. looked ugly. in the bin
like peeling off wallpaper and going back a couple decades.. amazing how many layers of paint the fairings had.
aluminium sidepod.. a bit messy, bog holding it together.. time for patch up!

exhaust used to wobble around alot and had holes in it etc etc.. lots of holes.
patched it up and made new exhaust mount/hanger and yea repaired a bit (a lot) of rust n welded up some pipe, filled in holes etc.. tidied up the 4 into 1 collector. plenty more to do though. scrub it all down and repaint headers/mid pipe. still got rusty bits that need attention
made a new gear lever as well, going to the track tomorrow to try it out, wasn't a good start as I broke it just sitting in the bike playing with it. so re-weld and added some strengthening..
if I can get rid of the missed shifts I'll be a fair bit quicker
plenty more pics along the way.
gonna be working hard to get bike tidied up as much as we can for the Barry Sheene - whoop! Cause we comin' to play
