At a non-MNZ meeting, there is only a requirement for scrutineering, not a technical inspection.
Drew could run a turbo, knobbly tyres, have handles 6 feet wider than the chair, airconditioning, sun visors, have a horn on it, carry a bar fridge, and even fit stubbie holders if he wanted too. He could also offset his engine to the side car deck, and play bingo whilst he competes against the clock too......
