true true, didn't think too long before I typed.

googled up uses for shims then, Heat transfer mainly and even spacing.

Not sure what mo was on about then saying don't bother bleeding just put the carbon shims in. (although if your having to bleed them all the time cause the fluids boiling etc then it makes sense.. bit of heat shielding to make the fluid last longer)

meh.. something to play with sometime

A definative answer from somebody whos in the know might help, ie not kai or drew.
We, neither of us, claim to be in the know.

A hand brake and a twin master bias that cannot just bottom out a master without activating the other must be sufficient. All bases are covered no matter who reads it right.

lets just run 2 discs on each wheel, 2 full circuits and 2 pedals.. if on system fails move to the next pedal.. maybe operated by the swinger!

I spoke with Ian at length this morning on this one.
Providing that the seperate system shares no parts in common with the main brake except the disc, then no problem, the main system can be made of cheese.

Maybe somebody with more tact and politeness than me could suggest he may want to mention this in the mass emails he is sending out. It may save a whole lot of people packing their undies.

Its been stressful on the beatties.

you can if you're patient like a jedi.

print entry form, fill it out, scan it back in or take a photo of it on digi camera.. email it in. pay the money with bank deposit.

edit: if you don't have a printer save it as a jpeg or image file, open it in microsoft paint, fill it out like a retard with a crayon using the pencil or paintbrush tool in paint/photoshop.. save it and email it in.
