What kind of boots do you use while riding your chair? i've read of some using sidecar specific boots, some using leather shoes and taping up the exposed areas and others using normal motocycle boots.

    I use Warwicks old boots..

they are fuckn awesome.. a soft racing boot.

Before that I used chuck taylor ankle high sneakers and just taped up the shoe laces.. they went fine for both swinging and riding. But the soft race boots are the best for me.

Tried my SIDI solo bike race boots.. like skating around on ice as a swinger and riding with them was crap, no ankle movement and too big/bulky.

    my 2 cents..

    What do you think Spyda?
The passenger sure looks like Dowman, or possibly Neil Armstrong with a helmet like that.
I see a Road & Sport sticker, which is points for it being more from Hamilton than Wanganui though.

john and darryl rode together often, they would share the duties and do half a meeting as rider and half as swinger i always wondered what they could've acheived had they stuck to one or the other. they had black leathers and yellow leathers, john's were black from memory with black brain bucket and darryls yellow with 1000cc yamaha on the sleeve, odd as they never made a 1000cc yamaha in those days, he ran a white lid certainally not a bell which this appears to be, there number was 86 those days too.
ther outfit was front exit with an oil cooler on the front too, doesn't mean to say they didn't borrow a rig though.
my monies on jeff mcclaren and andrew peircy at this stage, somewhere i''ve a piccie of jeff with the gremlin on board that may confirm it's jeff or not, does the NZSRA have a historian?
