    2006 F1 LCR K8 for sale.
Comes with a spare engine. Both Stock.
    Fitted with Maxton's.
Running a new style AMB exhaust system.
    MBE Ignition.
    Quick shifter.
    Hard wired transponder
I bought Tim's old faring, its in good nick.
Comes with 7 wheels. Good wets on rims.
I replaced the front upright with a new style billet one. I have the old one as a spare.
    Spare discs and bells.
Got a box of brand new break pads. 3 sets plus the Pagid ones that are fitted.
Brembo hydraulic clutch. Got the old cable one as spare.
    Spare throttle cable.
    Spare clutch.

There is a load of other bits and bobs, sprockets, chains, rose joints, coils, injectors, spark plugs, regulator......etc etc

Its ready to race. Complete package. I'm getting married next year and I'm building a house. It has to go. I will be racing it all year until it sells. I would consider a swap for an F2 with a few quid. I will be doing some rounds of BEMSE and a few Scottish along with whatever I do here at home in Ulster.

Asking price for the whole lot is £16k, for the bike with one engine and nothing else asking price is £13k.

1990 the rules changed: FIM Formula 2 Sidecar race for two-stroke engines not exceeding 350 cc or four-stroke engines not exceeding 600 cc.

yea just read about it in me book from my mate Dave..

sounds like the bikes were getting a bit dangerous in terms of build quality and strength with the old tired chassis being refitted with big heavy 4 stroke motors and then falling apart/breaking on the track and crashing.

I thought originally it was because the bikes were getting too fast, turns out everyone was just turning up on junk fitted with big heavy motors and crashing them

Thats exactly why the log book system was introduced in NZ.
I recall pointing out to one of the technical stewards that we had a bike amongst us originaly built with a 45hp air cooled '73 RD350 engine, which was now sporting a K4 Gixxer thou after seven repowers.
The history had been lost along the way & people just kept putting bigger & bigger motors in it.
Its still out there, but is fitted with an engine more suitable to the chassis.

We've got a pitbike with a Sidecar on it, it's red.

Hurts everyone who rides it, so the CR sounds like a real good idea.
