If you cant afford to fix it or race it, you should take somebody up on the offer to fix it up and race it for you.
You yourself said that we need more sidecars out there, and now you have taken 2 and hidden them away in your garage.
There are many sidecars out there being raced by not their owners. Bert has Stu's, the beemer had been passed around so much nobody knows who owns it, Scrivy had Phils (he could do with another to play on) theres about 25 bucket sidecars being let out to wreck on Saturday. And Chris is letting me run his long chair while he is on holiday.
