    [QUOTE=Drew;

    I wonder if stuff like this that gets seen at tech inspection, shouldn't be mandatory replacement.[/QUOTE]

    given the nearest equivalent race class is single seater cars, and they have to have current crack test certification on suspension parts....When are you guys going to get the same requirement ?

    And yes, I know it's a shitload more work, but one appearance in the Coroners Court after a suspension failure and it'd be in anyway...

    It's a shit tonne of work on an LCR. Our chair would be fine, it has swing arms front and rear. No hassle to crack test them, not that I can see any reason to do so.

    I see you're getting back to 'normal'.

    These things are not off the shelf. So anything that gets changed can be hard to make sure that nothing else then needs altered. We can't just go for a hoon down the street to make sure stuff is working, so it needs to wait till we get to a track. That's often a race meeting.

    So pull your fucken head in!

    Dick head, you do not need to ride a chair to know how or if the body work will fit, you need to have tried fitting it maybe

    You need to ride it to make sure the thing shifts gear properly...

    Rear was apart in 10-15 minutes, so not that hard to do but the setup time after it's put back together probably adds another hour, but how often would you do it? what bits would you need to do? etc etc

    The only crashes I can think of in the time I've been racing them where something actually broke and caused it were Scrivy's brake arm(short bike), Stu Prentis rear Axle(Short bike) Keith Sinclair rear axle (LCR) Mine, rear suspension arm (LCR) although I'm sure there are more

    I don't believe coroners court can enforce anything, they only make recommendations

    What was that you said? something about being only too happy to make me some new bits?

    I spent the day sulking about my new swinger breaking the sidecar
