Hoping next time out will be on my chair. The rebuild is coming along pretty good. Just need a 'new' crank it seems.
Anyone got a 1982 GSX 1100 crank they don't want?
You're a bit of a glutton for punishment, eh?
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

Though you never know what's out there, we picked up a low mileage, welded GS1000 crank about 10km from me - and I'm out in the back country...

The later 1135 or 1150 as it's known crank is a better bet and will fit the early cases. Bigger gudgeon pins etc too.
For sure, a few of the other guys are running the sane engines. Will have to see what l can afford.

A guy at work asked if GS1100 would be the same. Anyone know?

Will look into 1150 crank. Ben Needham is my rider & mechanic (by trade). l'm the bank & parts supplier lol
Lucky l work where l do.

If you're in Oz or NZ the GS1100 is an 8 valve shaft drive....But the GSX1100 16 valvers were sold as GS1100's in the US..

And, no, the 8V 1100 crank doesn't easily go into a 16V motor. If you look at getting a crank from the US, confirm whether it's from a 16V or 8V motor before paying.....

What's my other one? I'm keen to find out who else you think I am, I'm sure the mods could confirm that there's only one log on coming from this ip address. Not aunt fanny for fucks sake, that was Nodrog. And why the unprovoked aggro to start with.

Na, they deleted "Shaun" because he packed a hissy & said he was never coming back on here, as I recall because I baited the fuck out of him & the mods disabled it.

FFS, just get rid of Husaberk and this fucking cock shows back up

Anyway 7787 is actually a really nice lady and a lot of us locally have benifited from having her at the track and really appreciate having her there
