The dude has no secrets, if you can beat him after he's told you exactly how it's done, then you probably deserve to beat him. Pretty much how he explained it to me.
I've been trying to rationalise what I saw with Tim on the weekend & this is the best I've got.
Imagine you had never seen a shovel before, & a farmer gave you a pile of fence posts & a shovel & told you to put the fence posts in the ground.
So you take the posts & start beating them in by using the shovel as a kind of hammer, it works, but is hard work, quite slow & not particularly efficient & the results are complete shit & you can't work out why the farm hand (scrivy) is laughing at you.
The farmer turns up & shows you how to use the shovel to dig a hole & immediately you realise that you have been using the tool completely incorrectly & to poor effect.
Suddenly I realised that LCR's & the likes can be used in a way that I like to see sidecars used & I am a huge fan.

Whats the story with traction control and sidecars? You just keep on the gas coming up to turn 1 or what?, impressive stuff to watch
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

It seems you just wring their fuckin necks & it all comes together.
It was explained that "as long as the tyre is on fire you can point it wherever you want it to go"

Doesn't surprise me, some of the best solo riders we've produced rode like that.
Part of the problem may be that the LCR owners are treating them like expensive glassware. My observations only, you understand.

Don't you just love dealing with people like that? Multiple world champions who will happily tell you everything they know.
Have been there in a completely different branch of motorsport.

Or in the case of Warwick, like a ride on mower.

We've spent quite a bit of time trying different things with our setup, it's actually led to some massive backward steps and about 4 seconds a lap slower, seems to be working mint
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

I know I would go faster if I knew I wasn't picking up the rebuild cost.
