well in hindsight........yes and yes
but to be fair they were unsighted of the end result of the crossed up chair whizzing by.......one was wearing earmuffs...the other communication?muffs i guess...... and neither heard the half a dozen people or so over where i was screaming at them for a red flag.......perhaps in the future another marshall would be good on the same side as i was as a reference for them when unsighted.....was good to see both swinger and driver get up and move post crash

Most of you probably know Kellie Minnell, Leighton's wife that was Tracey's first passenger.
well it looks like she wanted to outdo Tracey in the crashing stakes.
This is absolutely massive.

Was just watching a mate's footage of that. Woops.
I'm curious as to whether either or both have "red eye". Do half that number of barrel rolls in a Sprinter or Midget car and the whites of the eyes go red with broken blood vessels. Couldn't tell in the TV interviews. Lucky though....
Standing behind a big fuck off tree with no view of the bend... Yes. But if they'd stuck the head out to peer round the tree it woulda got taken off. They should've been on the outside of that bend perhaps, but then they woulda lost the shade.
BTW... First time I've seen sidecars racing, looks like bloody hard work fun though.
When you gunna race in Nelson??
there are more marshalls by the exit on the other side, it's blindingly fast coming in there and the flag needs to be on the inside, odd thing is that for the first lap every flag marshall point holds out a yellow so the riders know where they are, did anyone think this wasn't the right place and go to the riders rep to get it sorted, nah thought not.
While you do make a valid point, because it's a street circuit there are problems changing anything...
Before the circuit plan is approved, it's scrutinised by every person and group who think they have a say. Anyone who wants to change something on the day is likely to face so much flak - and possible legal action - if something goes wrong as a consequence of a change that to all intents no change is possible.
Minor things like realigning a barrier will get away with no probs but moving a marshalls post won't/can't happen on the day.
The time to work for a move - or any other solution like raising the post height or cutting back greenery - is now. Before next year's approval is asked for.
