Riders brief is not the problem, the problem is the riders them selves as per usual. Do nothing, and then winge about it later, same way it has been here since I first started in 1987

I don't pass anyone gridded higher than us, or when someone is giving it a nudge at all. Just those who roll around enjoying the scenery.

If anyone is bothered by that, the option to protest is there to them.

Going into turn one on stone cold tyres/brakes is a greater hazard to everyone.

Every - at a street circuit the surface and surroundings change every time out. That lap is to look at it and see/remember what's different.

When i did CoC at wyndham i actually gave one group 2 laps warmup - method in my madness, there'd been an oil spill and the extra lap helped disperse the cement dust...and brought home to them exactly where the oil was.

Then of course every group wanted the extra lap....

Ya don't have to go full race pace to produce heat, but ya do have to go fast enough to deflect the tyres and need to use the brakes.

    It's dangerous to do otherwise.

It's even more dangerous when a 'backmarker' goes out first and weaves left and right at a slow speed to try and warm up their tyres.....
Forgetting about the people behind trying for some 'heat'....
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Bang on Buddy! HEY, where can the full results for the Suzuki series be found? Not just the top 3 or so?

    Guys,
    At Wanga on Boxing day...
the missus and I were perched across from Toyota bldg on a corner...I guess it could be called the top end of the course - with Rugby field across road.... where a classic chair went badly off into the big plastic bales...saw him approach the turn at way too much speed relative to his other laps - and everyone before him...and I figured he was just gonna swipe the bales and park up....but he shot full noise.. front on into the bales...ejecting one guy into the air and through the front door of Toyota - collecting a spectator as he flew. Other racer (swinger we think)..was stuck wedged between the bike and the bales. Took an eternity for any help to arrive and help. A lot of people nearby us were getting quite agitated and loud towards the flag marshals..who seemed to not want to do anything for maybe 20-30 seconds...
Haven't heard or seen any media mention of this prang. Would like to know that these guys are OK. Looked very nasty.

You're always being mean about my riding

    they are alive.

the rider has a broken femur, which required surgery on the 27th.

Two years ago at cemetery circuit I told the rider of that machine, "as long as there are assholes like you racing around here, I'm not racing here again" he used Nodrog & I as a brake into turn two & almost tipped us upside down. His demise was entirely predictable.
Having said that, he's a lovely chap off the track.
