same! Nev Mickleson took it home and said he was going to look at it for me. Again, blown away by the generosity of everyone in the sidecar world, its f*cking awesome! loved every second of it and can't wait for the next one. Thanks again to everyone that helped me and the agip bike team get up there and race. Really really appreciated (you all know who you are )

No worries, thanks heaps for the race gas and all the offers of help/accomodation/transport etc etc - much appreciated aye, also for having a quick going over of our wiring - bike ran on 4 cyls again in the last race but still dropped one every now and again.. but thats the least of its problems at the moment! - can't wait for the next race and will be good to see you out there soon too!

the coil earths etc are under some bolts on a plate that also supports the verticle handlebar shaft. this plate is now loose, not sure whether it's the result of the crash or not, and as a result your earths are loose too.
Anyway this is a poor place to put an earth under a bolt that could work loose and is likely the cause of your issue.

Earths were tight before he went out had checked them. Bike could do with a rewire found the fuel pump wire had been rubbing on something and were a couple of wires floating around going nowhere. Alot of race vehicles come through our workshop like this when they've passed through a few owners. I think Kai's passenger is going to rectify the wiring on it.

Yea they were tight, but still a poor place for earths, definitely needs a rewire.. Phil may do it.. could have a crack myself too.. needs to be done a.s.a.p

Chur, yea it is a poor earth spot, must change it and rewire the bike.. its a mess, also found that I was getting a shock from touching the cyl no. 3 ht lead.
yea plates prob loose after crash, steering might have had a bit of a knock when I hit the wall..

Thanks for the footage. Yip, that corner scared me. The run off is not enough for the angle of the corner. If you hit the grass and slide (which is always the case) then you are going to hit the wall at the end where there is no sand trap.
Friggin dangerous. You wouldn't have hit the wall and spun if there was enough kitty litter there.

Chur! meh fuck it.. if I knew how to ride I might have saved it looking at the footage I so nearly made it through that corner.. neeaarly.

Still dunno what exactly went on, in the last couple secs its like the chair lifts up, back slides a little and then next thing its on the grass through the sand and into the wall..

oh well! should be repairable, Jo's Dad is continuing the amazing Northern Hospitality and dragged my bike to his and said he will look at it for me and email me an update sometime soon..

you guys are brilliant, when it comes nationals time make sure you cash in the return favours from me - I'll do anything I can to help yas out down south. Accom, Transport, Storeage, Girls..err.. wait
