I give them both 3 laps (4 if dave goes easy in the warm up) and either of the lightweights will be crying for mercy. I'll be there to watch though.

Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.

    PMSL!!
Go onto youtube and check out the vids I just put up. We might be a 1300, but we ain't the fastest in a straight line. Even though we're over 30kgs heavier, we still outbrake everyone......

No, wrenching on a solo & jumping on a sidecar as a sideshow makes one a munter swinger & I dont reccomend it at all.
No focus & no gelling with the rider off track.

The standard line of slow competitors, theyre faster than us, therefore they must have a bigger motor than us & theyre cheating.
The mega talented Moto Guzzi team were accused of running a 1200cc engine on the weekend.
Whatever happened to, "fuck you guys are talented engineers, tuners & riders?"

Really? I bet no one saying that had the balls to protest them and get it checked though

Could be why me and Gordy couldn't keep up with them though

RF would be quite a decent motor if it had six gears. Plenty o power, and a real good torque curve. But the gear ratios are well fucked for racing.

Not sidecar related, but a quick update on Jay's Pre '82 GSX1100. The shyte aftermarket cam chain guide bow, which looks like an old piece of curtain track, broke in half. The damage is confined to that part & that part alone.
I will be getting brand new genuine guides, both front & rear, & using a genuine Suzuki tensioner.
    Next run, Cemetary Circiut.

Fuckin 'ell, that was bloody lucky!

So the loss in power he noted was the chain skipping a cam sprocket tooth or summat?
