Nah thank you and the rest of you guys up there.. we wouldn't have been able to without all your generosity and love

side note - I'm slowly organizing things for Wangas.. are you guys all staying in a motel and when do you guys go to Wangas.. 25th? I figure when Nev has finished repairing the bike I'll arrange to get it to Tga and then after xmas I'll try hire or borrow a trailer and drive it to Wangas the night before.. tent/crash the night. race the next day and then after the races probably drag it back to TGA.

still thinking how I can get the bike back to Chch for first round of nationals too, Is anyone going down that way with space for the agip bike? I'v been calling bike tranz and they said they may be able to do it if I drag the bike to Kapiti after Wangas.. Would be gay if they were delayed in delivering the bike though and it didn't make it in time for NZGP/First round Nats.

Anyway - still got some time to sus things

Just to put you in the loop, re Trace & I for Wangas. Her parents live in Wanganui, so we will be about town prob as early as 24th.
Scrutineering is done at Swartz Tyres right behind the Suzuki building on Taupo quay.
Sidecars usually pit at the top of that short dead end street on the tarseal beyond the cul de sac.
We will be pitting in the Steam engineers building at the top of the street on the left.
TXT me up when you get into town.
Regarding transport to Wangas, we have a fully loaded van, complete with sidecar on trailer & a large road bike in the van, for entertainment between Xmas & new year down that way.
Maybe your olds could rent a trailer? ours will all be in use.

Cheers Steve, yea renting/hiring one will the option then. will make some calls closer to the time to find a big enough trailer.

I think after Wangas I'll take it to Kapiti and see if Bike Tranz can get it south before nationals - Unless you still wanted to strap it to the roof of your trailer or something, Steve?.. you had a vague plan a while ago when you first rung me up re: barry sheene. All good with Bike Tranz too, I just hope they get it to chch in time

We will have a measure measure at Wangas to see if the stacking theory will hold up.
The Transit will pull it ok if it can be made to stay there.

    Transits are awesome

I came back from Puke one year with Goober and Dags bike on the trailer and the Housebus in the back of the van and it was hardly any different than driving van only

Nah, 100-110 easily, only hill that slowed it down was the big one south of Taihape, with Spike driving I think we would have been walking home if he'd been stopped
