Thread: Hamilton KBers!!!

  1. #16
I'm the latest paid up member of the Hamilton Motorcycle club - I'm so releived I didn't have to spew into a bucket and drink it up again....but disapointed there was no gang bang.

I've been there before, slept on the floor one night in the early 80s.The VStrom sounds gorgeous Stu,I'm so sad I sold my VTwin.

Thanks FZZ. Steve and I flatted together for a short while when he worked in Welllington many moons ago. Don't see him much now, sometimes bump into him at Paeroa or Pukekohe.

I guess I must of been one of the old guys, but there were a few of them,I did notice someone fairly young, most likely you yourself, sorry I knocked your bike over with the Pajero, but I didn't see it...I did pick it up again though. There were some vaguely familiar faces around,we've all been around bikes for years and I may have stood at a corner watching a race with someone, bought a part from them at a swapmeet. One of the familiar faces turned out to be FzerozeroT.

The photos and posters linning the walls show the history of this club, certainly one of the oldest in the country, some great stuff there. One showed a young Errol McCabe riding a Bantam at a trial - his son Neil still rides the bike and does bloody well on it.

Didn't notice that it had been knocked over or not. I remember that jeep thing was there before I got there though...

They meet at their Clubrooms at Seddon Road (behind Waikato Stadium), on the first Thursday of each month 7.30ish I think. Next meeting would be tomorrow (I might even go myself).
