    Hello from Germany (TheRealWolf)

    Hello,
since i have been in NZ a few years ago im a fan of this country and i'm dreaming of riding all acroos the Islands as I did with a car when i've been there.
My name is Wolf and I am from Germany. Here I ride this little GN 250:

As I live at the edge of the Alps I have the perfect roads with lots of curves to ride, even for a motorcycle with only 17 hp.
    Greetings from Germany, Wolf

Yeah, Gidday! My son-in-law spent most of his life in Germany. You can contact him through his websites, either, www.europlumbing.co.nz or www.yhp.co.nz

So when are you coming back to NZ?

    Hello,
I was searching for modified GN's in the web and somwhere I read that GN#s are popular in NZ so I tried to find out more and at the end I found this site.

I don't know when I get to NZ next time because our trip was our wedding trip and now there are two little childs age about 3 and 1...
The next thing I need is a side car.
But for my dreaming this forum is great.
About my GN: It's not finished yet, I think about some minor changes, but our TÜV something similar to your wof says no to a lot of mods wich you can do. But I wiil keep you up to date.
    Greetings, Wolf

P.S.: Ich habe die Pies probiert

I did not modify the engine but the optic. I have lowered the complete bike about 5 cm, flattened the seat, changed the front blinker, painted a lot of chrome black, covered the front suspension (I don't know the correct term) so it will not look so thin:

The upper black part is made of a plastic pipe, the lower part are bellows (is it called so?). I also mounted a crash bar. Now I think about some boxes for my luggage.

I try to omment the pictures on my homepage in english, but I think I will need a dictionary for it. On this page I have also my pictures from NZ from our trip around north and south island.

    Greetings, Wolf

The word you are looking for is 'fork gaiters'. Good looking for a GN250

Hogs are Harley Davidsons, which is an American name meaning Pig (Schwein)Possibly because they're handle like one & half the people who ride them are as fat as a pig
Brats are a slang word for Children.....

    Thank you for the translation.
Because today its pouring I went in our garage to work a bit on my bike. I removed the coloured stripes at the side and the luggage bar to make the bike more slim:

and this is me on my bike, not with my biking gear...

    The european Alpes...

    Hello,
because our 3rd child is coming next week we where not able to do our favorite trip to NZ. So I had to do it in the Alpes. Our summer is very rainy with lots of hard rain and thunderstorm, so I modified my GN 250.
