    Tyre fights back!

He won't be doing that again in a hurry. Especially not with that arm...

Lucky it was only a little tyre...a real truck tyre would have made his lights go very dim...

Looks like a zipper failure, I've experienced one of those from a similar distance but probably a lower pressure and luckily while wearing eye and hearing protection

Generally from the tyre being run underinflated for a while

Dunno, but I've seen a few things go into the side of tyres without that happening, I was very surprised it went off like that just from being stabbed

I remember technical training on truck tyres and being told if you put a Mini on a 1000R20 and could set it off they reckoned it would go 2 stories high, probably a large exaggeration but there's a fair bit of force involved, I know a couple of guys who've been bowled off their feet but haven't lost their clothes

A couple of years ago I had a trailer recapped tyre go pop on my truck and trailer unit, it ripped the guards off, smashed the lights, put a dent in the barrel and knocked the top of the fire extinguisher off which covered the car following in powder. Poor cunt was stammering still when he pulled up behind me...fuel trucks kinda have that effect on folks...

holy fuckanoly that tyre you mention doesn't look big enough ... the guy was probably lucky that there was another tyre beside it as I guess there would have been even more pressure as it was forced out.

I used to sit on the tyre while it was inflating to fill in my paperwork

Geez, heaps of blood real quick!! His arm doesn't look too good and he did a massive face plant on the concrete. No Hi Viz vest, thats the problem.

Hard to tell if arm broke or knife tip broke and air pressure shot it out at the guy.
Car tyres 35+ commercial tyres (van etc) 45+

    Truck tyre ???????

Even beading a bike tyre which seems to pop on at about 40 pounds shows the force inside.
