Kawasaki ER5 rev-counter problem

The reg/rec failed on my er5 blowing the bulbs, battery, cdi and rev counter. It has blown the resistor in the rev counter and was wondering if anybody knew what type of resistor it is?? It is too burnt to read. Any help would be appreciated.

I would Google your problem. A mate had a problem V6 Nissan the Rev Counter was eratic so he bought another Gauge Cluster from Pick A Part and problem solved. But it happened again and he came to see me and i Googled it amongst all the results there was one where the guy had put a bigger resistor than the 16v standard one room was a factor so he was limited in his final choice. I offered to write down the spec of the resitor the guy used but my friend had thrown out the old Gauge Cluster out
