Wellington bus depot location?

I know the local info centre could answer this. but they're shut at this time of night. Can't find anything using Google, and want to find out tonight, so will ask here.

Do Intercity buses stop at the central rail station? I'm trying to sort out which ferry terminal ( Bluebridge or Inter isl ) would be the closest walking distance. Any help much appreciated.

Bluebridge is across the road from Welly railway station.

Interislander runs a shuttle bus to the ferry about half an hour before each sailing from Welly railway station.

So take your pick

The shuttle usually leaves from the same platform that intercity drops you off at. It is pretty good.

Yes intercity is at the railway station and as casper said its right across the road from bluebridge,If your travel is aug sep take advantage of mates rates

Thanks for all the replies. It will be November when I'm travelling, so the mates rate thing may not work for me. Now I need to work out time frames for getting to Welly, catching a ferry, then doing the same at the Picton end.

Am aiming for Timaru where I'll spend a week or so scouring the Temuka area for my family's history.
